DISNEY TRIP UPDATE
We want to thank everyone for their patience as we navigate the process of working with our travel vendors to get answers about refunds and credits. After hearing from all parties involved, we wanted to provide an update on the options that are available to you.
OPTION 1: APPLY TRAVEL FUNDS TO NEXT SPRING BREAK TRIP
We are rescheduling the Disney trip for next year's spring break. The trip dates are March 27-31, and will follow the same itinerary (including the performance at Disney Springs). If you will be in grades 9-12 next school year and are participating in at least ONE musical, you are eligible to go on the trip. If you are planning on going next year, you can apply all travel funds from this year's cancelled trip to the new trip next spring. Please know that all prices for next spring's trip can fluctuate compared to this year's cancelled trip, so the total trip cost may go down or up slightly. We will do everything in our power to keep the trip cost at or under the total cost of this year's trip.
OPTION 2: REQUEST A REFUND
If you are a graduated senior or do not want to attend the new Disney trip planned for next spring, you can request a refund. Below is more information on how refunds will be handled:
Disney-related Travel Funds: a full monetary refund will be available. We will only issue ONE complete refund once Disney has returned all travel funds to us. All Disney offices are currently closed, so our refund requests are currently on hold until their cast members return, which will be sometime in July.
Southwest Airfare: Southwest issued a travel credit that is only valid for future air travel with their company. As such, we are unable to issue a monetary refund for airfare funds. However, your airline tickets can be exchanged with others wishing to join the new Disney trip next spring (essentially a ticket trade).
We will give another update once we receive a full refund from Disney that will provide instructions on how to notify us of which of the above options you choose. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact us via Remind or contact Quentin directly at [email protected].
