2019-2020 Season:
Throughout the 2019-2020 theatre season, CHS Theatre Arts partnered with the Miami Valley High School Theatre Awards, an organization that works to support theatre education throughout the Miami Valley, and to recognize the outstanding achievements of local high school theatre productions, students, and educators. These awards are overseen and adjudicated by trained, experienced professionals, and they aim to ensure that each production will be judged (and awarded) on its own merits.
While COVID-19 may have cancelled the traditional regional awards showcase held at the Schuster Center, where students from each participating school typically have the chance to perform on stage, the MVHSTAs still awarded all high schools whose shows were eligible for recognition. Carlisle High School was no exception — and they have the numerous awards to prove it!
